From Delhi

Nice weather (sort of hot--30 C.), nice noise (loud), nice odors (stinky), nice tastes (spicy), fresh air (with fumes), this is Delhi (old and new.) And India all over again. Can't be mistaken. This ain't Switzerland. Here on Main Bazaar, we had to walk over a cow that was crouching on the sidewalk to enter this cyber cafe. Anyway, 2 days here and we decided to take a 12 day tour of Rajasthan as a starter. We'll finish in Varanasi (Benares) where we will be there again right for the Holy festival, and go to Nepal from there after that. We will probably have to fly back from Katmandu to Delhi. All is otherwise fine and dandy thank you, except that our vacation time is far from being as restful as our daily life in Paris. Except also that we miss our cat.

Il fait beau (assez chaud -- 30 Degrés), du bruit (assourdissant), ca schlingue avec des effluves quand-même qui rappellent les senteurs des épices d'orient--mais elles ont du mal à s'imposer, les senteurs. Enfin, voici Dehli, la capitale de l'inde, la vieille et la jeune. Nous avons du enjamber une vache couchée dans le caniveau pour entrer

dans ce cyber café. (La vraie carte postale de l'inde !) Notre plan pour le moment, c'est de passer une douzaine de jours dans le Rajasthan, atterrir vers le milieu du mois a Bénarès pour s'y baigner (pour moi ce sera la seconde fois) au festival Holi. De la,  nous irons a Katmandu par la route (quelques dizaines d'heures?) et reviendrons sans doute a Dehli par avion. On finit toujours par rentrer bride abattue, avec Reiko, on est champion pour ca. Tout va bien jusque la, merci, sauf que notre chat nous manque et que les vacances ... c'est bien plus crevant que notre vie quotidienne à Paris. A+
